The Heart of Presence

There is something truly magical about connecting with your beauty and sharing it with the world. Your presence makes a difference and can be an inspiration for others to shine their inner presence and make the difference they are here to make.

This is a Chinese proverb that I love. If there is light in the soul, there is beauty in the person. If there is beauty in the person, there'll be harmony in the house. If there's harmony in the house, there'll be order in the nation, and if there's order in the nation, there will be peace in the world.

This Chinese proverb sums up my belief and mission perfectly. You have an inner light, and when it sparked your inner presence and beauty will shine through. What's more? When more of us do this, we will actually be contributing to peace  and harmony on the earth. Imagine a world without beauty. Just take a few minutes and think about that.

Have you ever stopped to think about how important beauty really is for our existence? Just think for a moment how life would be if there were no great works of art, no music and no books. Now, imagine that the beauty of nature also disappeared. What if there were no colors? Just plain gray everywhere.

These are pretty dismal thoughts. Beauty is so essential to the quality of our lives. It's a part of our nature. Without it, we become depressed and life is a very unhappy place. Would you deny nature of its beauty by asking a deer or a flower? Whom do they think they are expressing so much beauty?

However, don't we deny ourselves of our own beauty? Pretty much every day.
